I rescued an older dog 5 years ago, we had the BEST relationship for a wonderful 5 years. My Toby was a purebred St. Bernard, I named him after Toby Keith, big and cuddly. Toby was 6 when I rescued him, and he was already fixed, housebroken, and well trained.
