Hi All,
I'm off to the library for the book event. Will have a guest book for people to sign, raffling off one of my books I donated for Friends of the Library - and just meet and greet.
Also my book and You Tube has people reconnecting with me fro…
Made a video on my book yesterday and posted it on You Tube. Check it out under entertainment - type in book title "Courting Desire" and there I am. If you enjoy it, pass the info along. I'd appreciate help promoting my book.

- I have to comment on how you said it is a bit difficult to get your name out there. I'm also with Authorhouse (3 books) and I've done all the leg work myself. I found that agents won't even look at self published authors, which a shame because most of us are very good at the craft. I've completed several "meet and greets," which I got myself and had a few hundred "no's" from agents by sending out query letter after query letter. After spending close to a thousand (if not more) on all the paper, ink and mailing expense, I gave up and started to do all internet buzzing. I've been on several community TV episodes discussing the books and been on radio twice. Continue to drive yourself forward and don't count on agents. They only look for how many books you've sold. They feel we are amateur writers. You may also fax newspapers and send out press releases. It's a lot cheaper than sending out book afetr book hoping someone will take a look.
