At 12:42pm on November 3, 2008, Beverly Calton said…: i hope this is of some help! i often think about how God promises to take care of the birds--so why wouldn't he take care of us. i know things can become overwhelming, but we have to have faith that something better is on its way. i will keep all of you in my prayers. i live in different state, so these same resources may not be available there----call the social service dept., they may be able to help with emergency heat--food stamps or food banks---i can't remember the name of the organization, but you might ask them (or the county courthouse) about a national group that donates autos. i'm not sure of all of the details, but you could try the unemployment office, or use any skills they have to work from home for now (chopping fire wood, cleaning houses, dog walking, babysitting, etc.)--it may not be much, but it could be worth a try! God Bless you and your family, and i'm sure everything will be great. p.s. i've learned (as hard as it can be sometimes---ask for help---eventually you'll be able to return the favor, and most people do care)! if i can think of any other resources, i'll get back to you......HAVE A BLESSED DAY !!!! beverly
