Regarding your comment on being Card Merchandiser: It is so hard when you work for anyone and when your not your own boss. The beauty of working from home and for yourself is that you are the boss. I absolutely LOVE my JOB....did I say JOB...it is not a job at all, me and those I work with have so much fun and the pay is great. When I want to work....I work, when I don't want to work then I don't...but still get paid! That simple, love to talk to you about what I do. If you like working with cards, you will enjoy this company. Or again go to my web site. www.SendOutCards.com/ElkinTeam and let me know the questions you have.

I want to work from home, I had a full time job then got into a car accident that led to me being terminated by my employer due to my time off for injuries that i'm still recovering from. I've started a garden and now spend time with my beautiful dogs and cook my husband meals that I never had time for. I love to garden and cook so i'm turning a neg into a positive but reality I do need to have an income when my disability runs out. I like to network so anyone with ideas?

Hi there, long time no talk. Yes, some of the garden is started, most of my time spent with the dog that just had surgery though. Still making dogfood and hoping though. Hope everyone is well - Dee

PLEASE HELP MISSING CHILDREN Comment by PLEASE HELP MISSING CHILDREN on April 2, 2009 at 9:13am
Being newly (2 years) physically disabled has brought a whole new reality. I have been in the apartment, every day for 2 years. Except for hospital, doctors, groceries, and very short expeditions outside.
Two months ago my daughter bought me a lap top.

Lucky world lol

Now I'm creating havoc, ticking people off, and being an all around opinionated pain in the butt advocate for missing children.

I started it all by seeing a child that was abducted and felt a strong sense urgency to passing her picture through the web, in hopes that someone would recognize her and help her get home.

This one small child, who is still missing, began a string of events I had NEVER suspected. First, I posted her on the Oprah site. After getting revoked, and being told this was not allowed and they were sure I'd understand... I made it very clear I did NOT understand, and requested removal of all my material from that site. I cancelled my subscription.

Then I found Ning... and this is all still growing.

Please Help Missing Children has been invited to over 30 other communities. lol and its quickly getting out of control. It's only one little person, with limited function, wondering if God REALLY thought this out. lol

Last week, I ... humbly... informed God and the Universe that I need just a little bit of help. Within 2 days I obtained 2 volunteers.

I am Blessed.

So... there are actually 2 morals to this story.

1) BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR lol
When you feel a pulling in your heart, in any given direction, do follow it. If it feels that it is growing beyond your dreams, you'll know you've found what you were meant to do. Don't be frightened. If what you choose is a path from your heart, all things will be provided for. That's not to say you won't have to work to get there. It just means that ... well.... you will be led.

2) "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are ALL meant to shine, as children do.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.

And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
