It's been a great week in Sports, and I hope your Hockey NHL team is doing well this season. Since.. We won't have any NHL hockey games for 2 weeks, we'll enjoy watching U.S.A .... go for the Gold. Go U.S.A.

gigi, no, we don't personally know mike knuble -think it's how he spells last name. my other niece lives in Livonia-it's near Detroit & has babysat for red wing players. one she begged instead of paying in cash , could she please have a signed t shirt. she got the t-shirt! they predicted heavy snow but, it's light. we have a long driveway. take care

Hey, Linda, it's extremely sad so many professional ECHL and IHL teams are closing, I'm guessing it's due to the Cost of living and possibly no banks loans for Multi-Million Owners. I'm sure the Muskegon loyal fans and players are deeply sad there will no longer be a team, after 50 years... how sad.
I'm sure... it's emotionally hard for the owners of all the teams announcements they no longer can keep the organization up and running.
Caring thoughts for the owners, staff, players, and loyal fans.

Linda.. I remember hearing the NHL player Mike Knuble name announced, Is he a friend of your kids, too? How neat to have local guy playing HNL hockey.

Linda.. I wish you a safe several days with another snow blizzard coming your way.... I will say... It's been a hard year for so Many states.

Harry... How's the snow in your area? Do they cancel Hockey games, when the weather might be considered too dangerous for fans to drive?

Linda... Sounds like you'll be attending a wedding soon for your niece...it's great hearing Good news.

Liz, i've asked local readers of our paper to join the quest to save Bonnie hunt's show! Gigi, www.fox17online.com- a local newstation posted a sad item. after 50 yrs. muskegon will no longer have a IHL team. stated that "the future of all professional IHL is "murky" at best. i wonder what Wayne's comments would be. the game you watched sunday had a former red wing player & a 'local" guy, mike knuble. the sportscaster was commenting on the game. asked husband if snowblower was ready for heavy storm predicted since sun.-he broke a belt!! suppose to have 7-10"" my sister-in-law called last night-our niece got engaged this week-end! take care!

gigi, i saw a little bit of the game sun. was checking if DISH was working. now, i wished i'd of watched more of it! some players are mean. i always think of the little kids that are fans and see that. oh,well part of life. we're suppose to have 6-9" tues./wed. tommy holstrom -red wing player will be out with a broken foot. my niece lives in Baton rouge so, for her i'm glad the saints won. only football game my husband watches.

Linda..I'm sorry the Red Wings lost, but your team is doing much better than Carolina Hurricanes. Maybe I'll started pulling for the Thrashers or Maple Leafs..they're a good team, too. It was an exciting game watching the Capitals and Pens on Sunday. Oh my goodness. Alex Overckin ( sp) on the Washington Capital is somewhat a mean player or I'm just being a Mom, but he hits to hurt....and I'm sure that's why he's a multi-million dollar professional player and " C " of his team. My very first game I watched this season was the Washington Capitals, and I said I bet they might be this season's Stanley Cup Winners.. and they have not slowed down, every game they come out to win and hit like they mean it. They are an amazing team this season. Not my favorite, but an Amazing team to watch... so much talent. The Pens played outstanding against the Capitals, and I was sorry they lost in OT.

I will say.. I had hoped the Colts to win the Super Bowl, but congratulations to the Saints. It was a good weekend.. and I hope everyone enjoyed time with your family and friends. Life is good.

gigi, red wings lost. our DISH tv went out sat. & still not working. missed the Bud shoot out nascar race. but, 50/51 yr.old Mark Martin won pole for Daytona 500. been a mark martin fan for 12 yrs. or more. good luck to the teams! gigi, good to hear your family's safe.

Yes, Liz.. how's the petition going to Save The Bonnie Hunt's Show. I sure hope it's going well, and thank you for all your hard work on this petition. Bonnie brings so much sunshine into our homes and she's the best on TV.

Linda... so far we're doing well in S.C., but N.C. is having snow, but not as bad as MD or DC. area. That's a serious Snow Storm. I wish everyone a safe wintery weekend.

Linda...Hooray... Red wings won. That's great news. My husband and I watch whatever game is on TV and it's been wonderful seeing all these talented players.
Linda....You're so kindhearted and I agree times are tough and it's stressful. I hope your brother in law will find a job soon,caring thoughts for his family, too
