Good Morning everyone, I hope you allmade it through halloweeen ok. We did just fine here, the weather was perfect. My Hubby and I helped out at our church we do someting different for the kids here and it was fun. Hi Chris, sounds like your a busy one, I dont have bulbs to pull this year. But I still have to till under my garden bed. I have another busy day so I will chat and catch up with you all soon.

Well, I spent this afternoon digging up and cleaning off my Elephant Ear bulbs for winter storage...what a task! Beautiful day in Hoosierville, though. We are having our Indian summer now after the other night's, hard freeze. Darn, I still had peppers coming on! Happy Halloween everyone!

Simple Apple Butter Reipe

2 Cups unsweetened applesauce
1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar
1 Teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 Teaspoon ginger
1/8 Teaspoon cloves
Just cook till thick and you will have a yummy butter for your toast, muffins or what ever you enjoy.

Hopefully we wont see a cancelation of the world series, Go teams I am not a sports fan but I do make aprons and other items for those who are. I tried grape jelly last year and it got to thick on me dont know what I did worng. I wasnt able to get grapes this year but I will try again next year. I will post a really simple and quick way to make applebutter for those who love it but dont have time to make it. My girls make it for thanksgiving so easy and so good. I work on that this evening or in the am for you. I am so glad your enjoying being here I am enjoying the company and sharing. The seed exchange will be fun, I hope we get folks interested. I am thinking maybe right after the holidays so we have our seeds intime for sprouting. I reckon its time for hubby to come home from work so you all have an enjoyable evening.
