What a wonderful idea, this is a great way to recycle and or make a little extra money. I worked in a women's shelter for many years we were always glad to see folks bring in clothing and other items for our clients. I would like to welcome all our new friends on here, it was awesome to see we hit 100 members, I hope everyone takes a moment and stop in to say hi and let us know whats new in your life. Have a wonderful weekend.......Blessings to you all.

I make old clothes into new blankets or cash even, by taking them to a consigment shop. I have been able to go the last three times and get things without having to pay as I have that much money on my acct., the really cool thing is by where my mom lives the home for women needed clothes and I picked out and sent alot to them. Blessings to all of you.

Good morning fellow crafters, gardeners...creators. I make wreaths to place on my children's grave and my fathers grave. It started in 1984 when I couldn't find anything appropriate for a young child ( my son was eight and my daughter was five). My father's was decorated with some of his favorite things also. I love pinecone wreaths, but I seem to have a hard time finding the cones. The ones I do find I use in various holiday decorations. Have a very constructive day!

That sounds like a plan we teach each other, that is why i started this group to teach each other and make new friends. I am hoping now that summer is done we will be hearing more from folks.

Hi Dazzy, I can't wait to learn canning and freezing. I'm excited to receive everyones' input. I love learning new things, especially when it's beneficial. I am thinking about getting a How To Knit cd. A woman I talked to at my dentist office was knitting a baby blanket for her soon to be born grandchild and she said the cd's are very informative nd that's how she learned. Maybe I can teach you to knit and you can teach me to crochet. Ha
