I don't think it's Daniel either and Trent "fits" so far but I vaguely remember reading somewhere when it first came out that Carly had a daughter "wait until you find out who the father is" like it's going to be a shock - guess we'll have to wait & see.

I watched the Jan 22 episode and didn't hear anything that would have me thinking that Daniel was the father. She and Daniel worked together at one time and she introduced him to his wife. She was so happy to see him when she came back to Salem. If he was the father then something would have shown up on her face, hesitation or something, beings she was there to see her daughter. I may be wrong but I still think Trent was the collegue, he was a Dr of science, that she had an affair with.

She's not Bo's, Carly never came back to Salem and they said that the father was a collegue of hers, meaning a Dr that she met at a convention. Trent was Melanie's father, but now you have me thinking..... I'll have to watch the episodes you are talking about. Trent could have been her adoptive father because he gave up Max after his wife died. so maybe he adopted Melanie. hummmmm.

Question: Do you think that Dr Dan the notorious lover is Melanie's father? Go to NBC or HULU and watch the episode on either Jan 22 or 28 Carly and Dan's conversation got me thinking. Also if she were Bo's she would be a Kariakis.

My mother told me yesterday about Francis Reed. She had a long beautiful career.
I forgot about the Olympics cutting into our time. What will I do without my "Days and my "Friend Bonnie" I'm home bond that's my daily life. On weekends I'm lost.
I have been watching DOOL since I was 12 yrs. old. It was "The Doctors," Days" and "Another World" I also watch Dark Shadows. My Grandma D'Angiolillo got all the "girl's in the family watching. When we get together at family parties we are all yaking away about Bo and Hope, from my 85 year old aunt down to the great grand kids. It's a tradition.

Yes I did see that the other day. The article said they didn't know how they were going to write it. It may be awhile because they tape 3-4 weeks ahead and with the show being pre-empted for the Olympics, this will be the last week for 2 weeks.
